1. The Birth of Samuel
The cold November wind softly blew through the broken window pane at the foot of the broken iron bed frame. Elsa was unaware of the chill as she tried to hold back the birth contractions. Biting her lip in pain she groans and then calls out, "Where is she!"
"Elsa," Klaus says softly, "She's coming, love. She promised."
"I can't wait."
"You must. I don't know what to do." Klaus tries to keep his own panic from his words as he takes her hand, "We need a midwife and Mr. Wright said she was the best in the neighborhood."
